LDV Imports is proud to have a truly manmade espresso from start to finish. Below is the step-by-step process we use while wood-roasting our espresso:
1. LDV Imports hires a specialized broker to find the most refined, high-quality espresso beans in the world.
2. After we have selected our beans, we store them at our partner’s, Trieste’s Sandali Coffee Masters, temperature controlled location until we are ready to roast.
3. Once ready to roast, the handmade process begins. At our roasting facilities, one man roasts an estimated 360 lbs. of beans a day. This roaster manually carries & roasts one 60lb bag of coffee at a time, loading acacia firewood into the oven and carefully watching the beans cook throughout the process.
4. This same roaster tastes and smells the beans during the roasting process, testing its readiness multiple times throughout the day. Once roasted to Aneri perfection, the roaster manually fills beans into our 2.2 lb. bags and then uses the only machine in the entire roasting process to seal the bags for freshness.
